IGA 2027

Venue

Museo degli Innocenti

IGA 2027 will be held at the Museo degli Innocenti, one of Florence’s most iconic Renaissance landmarks, located in the heart of the city in the beautiful Piazza Santissima Annunziata.

Designed by Filippo Brunelleschi in the early 15th century, the complex is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and one of the most distinctive historical settings in Florence. Today, the Museo degli Innocenti combines its extraordinary artistic and architectural heritage with modern facilities for conferences, meetings and international events.

The main conference activities will take place in the historic Salone Brunelleschi, an impressive 15th-century hall characterized by its elegant coffered ceiling, natural light and excellent acoustics. Additional spaces within the complex provide flexibility for parallel sessions, meetings and other conference activities.

The Museum’s historic courtyards, including the beautiful Cortile delle Donne, also offer exceptional settings for social events and receptions, providing participants with the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of Renaissance Florence.

Located in the very centre of Florence, the Museo degli Innocenti is within walking distance of the city’s major cultural attractions, making it an ideal setting for IGA 2027.

IGA 2027 will bring together the scientific community in a truly unique setting, where research, history and the cultural heritage of Florence come together.
